What do you guys think about the (NEW) NEW YORK KNICKS?

Having just reached the playoffs last season and losing 3-1 while acquiring their 1st playoff win in a long long time against the defending champs. The Knicks made moves that I honestly think would work. I know they're the oldest team right now and in league history but I really think they brought those guys in for having their assets outweigh their age liability.

The thing that makes me happy right now is that Amare Stoudemire finally willed himself to work on his post game with the "Dream". They will be utilizing Amare and Carmelo more this time with their half-court offense with coach Woodson and knowing he's a defensive minded coach just makes me even happier. They kept a lot of their assets except for Jeremy Lin and Jared Jeffries. Too bad eh? Well they still got the best 3 point shooter in the game (imo), Steve Novak and the microwave J.R. Smith. The biggest move they made is getting the veteran PG Jason Kidd. Yes he pass, yes he can spot up, yes he can post up smaller guards but the best thing about this move is his leadership on-court and off-court. He's a great role-model for the rest of the team and they finally have a teammate to look up to.

Honestly this team is looking good and I'm sure they will outperform their year last year because of two factors. Training camp and the practice hours in between games. They are a much better team than what they have recorded last season and I really think they have a potential to go to the conference finals this year. Hopefully they find their chemistry early in the season and get home-court advantage in the playoffs.
